Celebs, Sports Greats to Play Softball Game
If you’re looking for a fun way to kick off your 2011 All-Star experience, bring the family out to see the stars face off against baseball legends in a game of softball.
The 2011 All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball game is set to take place on Sunday, July 10th at Chase Field.
The five-inning game is packed with talent form TV, music, and sports.
Participants in the game will include:

- AJ Calloway host of “Extra!”
- James Denton of “Desperate Housewives”
- Country musician Jason Aldean
- Pop artist Nick Jonas
- American Idol winner (and Arizona native) Jordin Sparks
- Chord Overstreet from “Glee”
- Tim DeKay from “White Collar”
- Jesse Williams from “Grey’s Anatomy”

Former MLB All-Stars Fred Lynn, Mike Piazza, Steve Garvey and Bernie Williams, as well as Hall of Famers Ernie Banks, Rollie Fingers, Rickey Henderson and Ozzie Smith will also join in on the festivities.
