Missy Elliott, who celebrates her 40th birthday today, was featured on VH1’s “Behind the Music” earlier this week, which saw the multi-platinum singer/rapper/producer share stories about her abusive childhood and how she was repeatedly molested by a family member, as well as how she made it into the music industry, her current battle with Graves’ disease and much more.
